As an Acupuncturist on a cruise ship, you will provide holistic care to guests using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques to address a wide range of health concerns. You will conduct consultations, recommend personalized treatments, and perform acupuncture sessions in a professional onboard clinic. This role offers a unique opportunity to build strong client relationships, deliver wellness services in a multicultural setting, and manage your own practice at sea. You will also educate guests through talks on acupuncture and Chinese herbs, while working closely with the spa and wellness team to deliver exceptional guest service and support onboard health programs.
Qualifications
- Valid license or certificate in Traditional Chinese Medicine recognized by national/state authority.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of formal acupuncture training.
- Ability to perform effective consultations and treatments in a time-efficient manner.
- Confident in speaking publicly on topics related to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese herbal remedies.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a sales-oriented role; ability to recommend services and wellness products.
- Team-oriented and capable of working independently in a clinical setting.
- Fluent in English; basic computer proficiency required.
- Willing to commit to onboard training and work extended international contracts.
