Attractions Host/Hostess, typically part of the Entertainment team, plays a key role in creating a fun, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities include greeting and interacting with passengers, hosting and coordinating a wide range of activities, games, themed events, and entertainment programs for all age groups. The role also involves overseeing the smooth operation of onboard attractions such as game zones, simulators, or other recreational areas, while ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Hosts/Hostesses contribute to the overall guest experience by encouraging participation, answering questions, and providing assistance as needed, helping to create lasting memories and a high level of guest satisfaction throughout the cruise.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a high-volume, guest-facing role, preferably in attractions or ride operations.
- Strong focus on safety, procedures, and compliance with operational protocols.
- Excellent guest interaction skills.
- Excellent English communication skills (additional languages a plus).
- Strong time management, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
- Works well both independently and in a team environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.
- Able to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, twisting, standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods.
