As a Beauty Therapist on a luxury cruise ship, you’ll deliver a high standard of facial, body, and beauty treatments—ranging from manual and electrical facials (galvanic, faradic) to body wraps, Swedish massage, manicures and pedicures. You’ll conduct skin and health consultations, customize treatments, and maintain impeccable hygiene in treatment rooms. Working in collaboration with the spa team, you’ll promote spa services, retail products, and participate in beauty demonstrations or seminars. Your goal is to leave guests relaxed and rejuvenated while maximizing spa revenue. As part of a fast-paced, multicultural onboard environment, you’ll uphold brand standards and contribute to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Valid Level 3 or CIDESCO (or equivalent internationally recognized certification) in beauty therapy.
  • Demonstrable training in both manual and electrical facial and body treatments, including galvanic and faradic currents.
  • Proficiency in skin analysis, massage, mask application, manicure/pedicure, waxing, and cellulite treatments.
  • At least one year experience as a beauty or facial therapist in luxury spa, wellness, salon, or cruise environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of anatomy & physiology, hygiene standards, and product chemistry.
  • Excellent guest consultation and communication skills; fluency in English required, additional languages a plus.
  • Sales-oriented approach with ability to promote spa services and retail skincare products.
  • Physically capable of working long spa shifts, standing for extended periods, and setting up treatment rooms.
