The Broadcast Manager oversees all live broadcast and TV operations onboard, ensuring smooth setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio-visual systems. This role supports entertainment programming, supervises technical staff, maintains equipment, and ensures compliance with safety and service standards. Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills are essential to deliver high-quality guest experiences and support shipwide broadcast needs. The Broadcast Manager also collaborates closely with the Cruise and Stage Managers, contributes to team training and development, and ensures all technical operations align with the company’s service and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Certified AV media designer or equivalent with extensive experience in TV/video production, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven Broadcast Manager with strong knowledge of computer systems for broadcast setup; shipboard experience preferred.
  • Degree in broadcasting or technical theater preferred; training in visual electronics accepted.
  • Skilled in Apple hardware, Final Cut Pro, Compressor, and CMS tools; experience with key AV equipment is a plus.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Experienced in leading multicultural teams; organized, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks and PC-based software.
  • Professional appearance, guest-focused, with strong public health and safety awareness.
