The Captain is the company’s official representative on board, responsible for the overall safety, security, and operation of the ship, passengers, and crew. Appointed in accordance with flag state and international regulations, the Captain has full authority to make decisions necessary to protect life, the environment, and the vessel. Key duties include ensuring the ship is fully certified, seaworthy, well-maintained, and operated in line with company policies and maritime standards.
