The Demi Chef de Partie Bakery is responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods including breads, rolls, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes and quality standards. They assist in creating showpieces and buffet displays while ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with USPH and HACCP guidelines, and overseeing bakery opening and closing procedures. The Demi CDP Bakery supports inventory control, minimizes waste, and ensures ingredient availability. They work closely with kitchen staff, follow instructions from senior chefs, and adapt to changing demands while upholding all safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years’ bakery experience, ideally in a hotel, resort, cruise ship, or wholesale bakery setting.
  • Proven ability to produce a wide variety of breads, pastries, muffins, and cookies in high-volume environments
  • Strong knowledge of international pastry techniques and preparation methods.
  • Experience working independently, including night shifts, with minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of USPH standards, food safety, sanitation, and waste management practices.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural kitchen environment.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English to follow recipes and communicate with team members and supervisors.
