Pool Deck Supervisor

The Pool Deck Supervisor leads and supports a team of Pool Service Hosts/Hostesses by providing clear guidance, hands-on leadership, and motivation. This role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and overall readiness of the pool deck area, including furniture and equipment. Responsibilities include supervising daily tasks such as towel distribution, trash collection, setting and cleaning deck chairs, disinfecting and inventorying life vests, and laundering cushion covers. The supervisor actively engages with guests, anticipates needs based on guest flow, and adapts to various weather conditions. They report maintenance issues affecting guest experience and help manage towel operations on the private island, while mentoring future team leaders.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a guest service–focused environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with cleaning tasks and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Excellent verbal communication and confident in managing guest interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively with guests of all ages and handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Team-oriented with sound judgment and a proactive attitude.
  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs frequently.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic computer skills for daily reporting and communication tasks.
