As a Retail Sales Manager aboard a cruise ship, you will lead and oversee all onboard retail operations, including duty-free shops, boutiques, and kiosks. You'll manage sales performance, merchandising, and visual standards to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction. Working closely with procurement and corporate teams, you'll ensure optimal stock levels and timely product rotations. Additionally, you'll hire, train, and motivate a team of retail associates, maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Retail Management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail management in high-volume environments, ideally with luxury, duty‑free, or cruise ship experience.
- Proven track record of driving sales, managing budgets, and hitting KPIs (e.g., average transaction value, conversion rate).
- Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and supervising diverse teams.
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and inventory management tools.
- Flexibility to work extended and non‑standard hours (nights, weekends, holidays) in international waters.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
