The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading and managing the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction across all guest cabins, public spaces, crew areas, and laundry operations. This includes maintaining compliance with MLC 2006, IPM, and sanitation protocols, conducting regular inspections, monitoring inventory and budgets, managing department schedules, and overseeing staff performance and training. The role requires strong leadership of a large multicultural team, coordination with other departments, and a focus on delivering exceptional service that aligns with company standards, safety regulations, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper, preferably in a luxury cruise or premium hospitality environment.
  • Proven leadership of multi-cultural teams; experience with dry-dock or new ship launches is an advantage.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipboard management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of USPH and international sanitation standards.
  • Skilled in budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.
  • High personal standards of professionalism, hygiene, adaptability, and team collaboration.
