The Video Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of video and projection systems across all entertainment venues onboard. This role includes filming and editing content for onboard broadcasts, managing video playback during live shows, and supporting technical rehearsals and events. Responsibilities also include operating large-format LED displays, handling video switchers and servers, and maintaining video equipment inventories. The technician works closely with the Stage and Broadcast teams to ensure high production standards. Creativity, technical fluency, and strong organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Experience operating professional video systems for live or broadcast environments.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro X) and show control programming.
- Familiarity with projection systems, LED displays, switchers, routers, and control components.
- Comfortable with technical troubleshooting and basic mechanical tasks.
- Strong knowledge of IP protocol and browser-based media systems.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Degree in media, film, or broadcast production preferred.
